Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using PipChat (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use and the related policies listed below. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility and age
You must follow the laws where you live and the platform rules. PipChat is not intended for children under 13. We may restrict or remove accounts that do not meet eligibility requirements.
Accounts, verification, and badges
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and any activity under your account.
- We may offer verification flows (for example, for business/government accounts). Verification status and certain badges may be visible to other users.
- You agree that safety and trust signals (scores/badges) may be displayed publicly to help users assess credibility.
Service description
PipChat is a community platform inspired by the tradition of gathering under a Pipal tree to discuss and improve local life. Users can create public posts pinned to an approximate location, join communities, and participate in public conversations.
User content
You are responsible for the content you post, including posts, replies, community chats, media uploads, and catalog items. Content is treated as platform-visible according to the Service design.
- You represent that you have the rights to post your content and that it does not violate any law or third‑party rights.
- You grant PipChat a license to host, store, reproduce, and display your content as needed to operate the Service.
- We may remove or restrict content that violates policies or law.
Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Post illegal content, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM/CSAE), or facilitate exploitation.
- Harass, bully, threaten, or incite violence or self-harm.
- Dox people or share personal data without authorization.
- Impersonate others, run scams, phish, or spread malware.
- Attempt to bypass moderation, rate limits, or security controls.

Billing and purchases
Paid features may be offered via platform billing (Google Play / Apple). Store checkout determines your local currency and final price. We do not store full payment card numbers.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms, the Posting Policy, or for safety/legal reasons. We may also remove communities or content that violates policies.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- PipChat is not responsible for user-generated content or the actions of other users.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability will be limited.
Changes to terms
We may update these Terms as PipChat evolves. Continued use after changes become effective indicates acceptance of the updated Terms. Where reasonable, we may provide additional notice (for example, in-app).
